[2025-01-26] 2026 is open for booking!
The year 2026 is open for booking! Here's what you need to know:
- As usual, only weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday are possible during winter (from Christmas to mid-April) and summer (July-August).
- Summer (July-August) is not yet open for booking.
- Outside of summer/winter, you can still book by the night.
[2024-12-07] Opening of a bay window
The apartment has been under renovation all autumn and is now equipped with a beautiful bay window to enjoy the unobstructed view of the valley even more! We took the opportunity to completely renovate the entire living level (the sleeping level was renovated last year).

[2024-09-15] We offer you the shuttles!
🚌 Starting this year, the Skibus shuttles, which allow you to travel between the hamlets of the resort, are partly paid for by the passengers. Le Col Roulé has decided to offer you 4 adult passes for your stay (it's free for children)!
Here are our tips to make the most of the slopes during your stay with us:
- If you prefer to take the shuttles, the schedules are posted on the apartment door. As they are not very clear, feel free to contact us for more details on the passing times!
- Another option is to do as we do: we leave our boots and skis in the lockers of a store near the gondolas (1€ per day). This way, we go to the lifts and return to the apartment either by shuttle (5 min) or on foot (15 min). Total freedom!

How to get there
Valloire town hall likes to say it, to come by car or motorbike from anywhere there is only one traffic light! Indeed, the motorway leads to Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, then after 25mn of ascent you have arrived.
By train+bus you just have to go to Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne (also called Saint-Michel Valloire) by TGV, then take a bus to Valloire (book in advance !):
If buses are unavailable, try cabs or carpooling:
Ski & Snowboard atmosphere
View of the village centre from the flat
Imagine an exciting winter morning! Adrien, aged 9, has to be at his ski lesson by 9:15. At 8:50, you leave the apartment, put on your boots, and grab your skis. Head to the free ski bus stop, right at the foot of the chalets. By 9:10, you're at the ski area, at the base of the gondolas. Adrien goes off to ski with his group, and the rest of the family just has to hop on to hit the slopes, an epic day in the mountains ahead!
What makes Valloire so special is that it combines the advantages of a family resort on a human scale, with those of a large domain equipped with 100 miles of ski slopes on 5 sides, with the latest ski lifts. And for those who are always seeking more, Les 3 Vallées are just a 35-minute drive away!
Ski & Snowboard
The diversity of the winter activities is plethoric :
And if all that wasn't enough, the departure of the 3 Vallées cable car (Courchevel, Méribel, Les Ménuires, Val-Thorens, Orelle), the world's largest ski area with 600 km of slopes, open from November to May, is just 35 minutes away by car!

Hiking & Biking atmosphere
Lunch with view from the terrace of the flat
In the summer, our flat is perfectly positioned, just an 8-minute walk along a scenic hiking trail from the center of Valloire, its shops, activities, and the Crêt de la Brive gondolas (operational in summer for pedestrians and mountain bikers). Additionally, it's a 16-minute walk from the leisure center, which includes a swimming pool, ice rink, and wellness area. If needed, you can always opt for the convenience of your car (private parking is included with the rental, complemented by a T2S + TE private charging point for electric vehicles).
And to top it off, our generous 215 sqft covered terrace provides ample room for storing your equipment!
Whether you're here to conquer mountain passes on your bike, descend thrilling mountain biking trails, enjoy a day of hiking, experience refuge or bivouac stays, scale cliffs through climbing or via ferrata, take to the skies with paragliding or ultralight flying, or simply unwind on the golf course, by the pool, or at the spa, Valloire has something tailor-made for you.
Cycling
Valloire is situated between the Col du Télégraphe and the Col du Galibier, north of the Col du Lautaret, made famous by the Tour de France, in the heart of the Maurienne valley which claims to be the largest cycling area in the world. Cyclists, amateurs or professionals will be able to satisfy their cycling desires, whether regular or electric (available for hire on site)!
Mountain bike enthusiasts will not be outdone. Valloire is a paradise for mountain bikers... 100 miles of marked trails for all levels and 1 bike park (at the arrival of the Crêt de la Brive cable car). In just a few minutes the gondola takes you up to 2100m altitude to access different levels of descent, including a 5.5 miles family trail that winds between mountain pastures and forests.
In the village, a 260 yards Pump Track divided into 3 levels will also delight fans of the discipline, whether on a bike or a scooter. With free access, it is located right next to the Skate Park and the Ice Rink.

Hiking
Valloire is nicknamed La Vallée d'Or by its inhabitants because of its exceptional sunshine which has nothing to envy to the Southern Alps, on the other side of the Col du Galibier. The 35,000 acres of high mountains around Mont Thabor and the Aiguilles d'Arves are home to a preserved fauna and flora that will satisfy your desire for nature. And if after several stays in our valley you would like to change valley, only 45 minutes by car the Meije and the Ecrins will offer you new territories to discover.

Climbing
For the most part in the village, 3 via ferrata and hundreds of climbing routes will satisfy all desires. Several shops rent the material, and the Guide Bureau will be able to accompany you if necessary.
